Dressing Up

Another Friday comes around, but not just another Friday.

Feels like summer outside for a change and I decided to wear a dress today. Beige thing with off-white big dots on it. Like what Julia Roberts wore in Pretty Woman but much more subtle (and no big hat). Underneath an ivory silk blend bra and matching bikini style panties. 10 denier nude hold-up stockings and off-white sandals. And a white lacy cardigan. I had toyed with the idea of no undies; it’s been a long time since I’ve done that. I may slip them off later.

Linda is over at the photocopier, wearing a little black pleated skirt and black heels which make her long bare legs look even longer. She has a thin white blouse on top and I can see her bra through it.

On a totally different subject, I got chatted up on the bus this morning by a very nice young man.
Wonders will never cease. Maybe it was the dress.

I’ll probably write some more later on.

Retail Therapy Always Works

Didn’t go to work today.
Couldn’t go to work today.

Did a lot of thinking last night and in the wee small hours.

I’m not going to pursue this ‘affair’.
It was a one night stand and that’s all it was.
DECISION MADE.

Went shopping today. Beats the hell out of work. Retail therapy always helps.
Got some nice things.
Two skirts
Three strappy tops
New sandals
And some nice undies.

I’m a lingerie addict. Got much more than I need but I just can’t help myself. If only a nice single guy would come along what a fashion show he could get.
Maybe the new guy in Sales?
Perhaps I should look further afield.
You know what they say about your own back yard.

Black Friday Sunny Monday

Friday the 13th today – Black Friday.
I’m wearing all black today. Black top, skirt, shoes, stockings and undies. Looks quite smart too.
And I’m feeling quite good today.
I’ve booked a last-minute deal.
Off to Corfu on Monday.

ON MY OWN!
Slightly apprehensive about that, but I’m just going to read and lie in the sun. Never been on holiday by myself so I’m sure it will be an experience.

On another subject, I’ve heard through the grapevine that ‘Him’ has a new floosie. Also heard that she may have been on the scene prior to the break up. Now I’m trying to think back.
Were there any signs?
I try to comfort myself by saying ‘It’s his loss’.
I’m not being big-headed but I think I’m a nice person, fairly intelligent and quite attractive.
I know it’s time to put him out of my mind and move on.

Anyway, Corfu beckons and who knows what else?

A Very Merry Unbirthday

6th of June 1982.
The day Veronica came into the world.
I am twenty six today. Jesus!
I hadn’t planned on blogging this, but like I said earlier it feels like a kind of therapy for me.
I am writing this at work.

When I left the house this morning no birthday cards had arrived.
I am hoping the postman is late today and that there will be something there for me tonight.
I normally take a day’s holiday on my birthday. I think everyone should have a holiday on their birthday.
Anyway, I couldn’t face the day on my own so I have opted for the office this year.
I am going out with friends tonight, which will be nice, but I’m feeling a little blue at the moment.
And twenty six sounds kind of old to me.

I know I need to forget ‘Him’, get back on my bike and into the world of the living, and I have promised to myself to make the effort this evening.
I’m going to put on my favourite black and white dress, some sexy undies and shoes with high heels. Maybe not stockings yet, not ready to go the whole hog.
So if you see some six foot, dark-haired stunner in Glasgow city centre tonight please say ‘Hello’.
‘Stunner’ ?
That’s a laugh.
