Dress Me Up – You Know You Want To

Halloween tomorrow; and I want you to dress me up.

First I need to say I’m not a huge fan of Halloween, but I have a party invite so I ‘m going to make the effort. Not a big affair, but about fifty or sixty are going. The hosts have a big house.

So what are the options?

  • ‘The Tart’, but I hear you say ‘That would just look like any other Friday’
  • ‘The Nurse’, sexy I suppose, but a bit predictable
  • ‘Red Riding Hood’ This one has been going through my mind; red jacket, skirt, stockings and heels, and a little wicker basket for my Pinot Grigio. Mmmm  a possibility
  • ‘A Man’. I don’t know. Would I pass? I like to think I wouldn’t. Linda, my lesbian friend, is invited too, and she thinks this would be a lovely idea. I think she would like to dress up as a girl. I’d like to see her in ‘girlie’ mode. I think she would be quite stunning.
  • ‘Vampire’. The gothic female neckbiter. White make-up, black lips, long black torn dress, glimpses of black stockings beneath. I love horror films and books. Can’t beat being scared shitless.

What do you think?

I’m really quite shy, but when you are ’someone else’ it’s so much fun. Even better if you are not recognised. That’s what I’d really like. To be an anonymous head turner.

‘Who’s that girl?’

If you have the time please leave a comment. How would you dress me?

A Very Merry Unbirthday

6th of June 1982.
The day Veronica came into the world.
I am twenty six today. Jesus!
I hadn’t planned on blogging this, but like I said earlier it feels like a kind of therapy for me.
I am writing this at work.

When I left the house this morning no birthday cards had arrived.
I am hoping the postman is late today and that there will be something there for me tonight.
I normally take a day’s holiday on my birthday. I think everyone should have a holiday on their birthday.
Anyway, I couldn’t face the day on my own so I have opted for the office this year.
I am going out with friends tonight, which will be nice, but I’m feeling a little blue at the moment.
And twenty six sounds kind of old to me.

I know I need to forget ‘Him’, get back on my bike and into the world of the living, and I have promised to myself to make the effort this evening.
I’m going to put on my favourite black and white dress, some sexy undies and shoes with high heels. Maybe not stockings yet, not ready to go the whole hog.
So if you see some six foot, dark-haired stunner in Glasgow city centre tonight please say ‘Hello’.
‘Stunner’ ?
That’s a laugh.
